Giving to God
Proverbs 3:9 “Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the first-fruits of all your crops…”
All that we have comes from God. We are but stewards of what He has given us. We tithe to God what rightfully belongs to him. This reveals our trust in God who provides for us. We believe that the minimum biblical standard for giving is 10%, commonly called a tithe.
On top of tithing, we also give offerings to express our thanksgiving for all He has done for us.
Tithes and offerings received at Salem Chapel are used to resource the church in ministry, missions and operations.
